You And Your Heart

"Run my dear son
We've got to get to the trees
And then keep on going all the way ...
We've got to get right down to the sea"

"Water is the subconscious," says Jack, "and that water for me is the ocean. To get to the sea is being able to dig in and touch things that aren't on the surface. That reference - that ‘we've got to get to the sea' - is about a father leading his son to try to understand himself."

There's a new album on the way by Jack Johnson called "To the Sea". First single "You And Your Heart" is going to hit radio on April 6th and the album is due out on June 1st.

Here's a small MTV interview about Jack's influences, and a little preview of the single.

Other than that, there's not much information yet. I have a feeling it's going to be a great album, and I hope a little more uplifting than "Sleep Through the Static".
